Welcome to M-ENGINE: The Future of High-Speed Optical Communication

Revolutionizing Data Center Efficiency with Optical Frequency Combs

As AI, cloud computing, and social media continue to grow, data centers are projected to consume 20% of Europe’s energy by 2030. This increasing demand creates a major challenge for scalability, energy efficiency, and sustainability in optical communications.

M-ENGINE proposes a breakthrough solution—leveraging optical frequency comb technology to replace hundreds of single-channel lasers with a compact, multi-wavelength light source. This enables high-capacity, low-energy data transmission, meeting the rising bandwidth demands while supporting the EU’s climate goals.

Growing data needs
Requires more bandwidth
Traditional solutions
Adding more lasers increases energy use
Need for sustainability
Reduces energy costs and carbon footprint
One compact system replaces 100+ individual lasers
Lower power consumption, higher effiiency
Reliable, high-performance data transmission
