On June 17, Dr. Le Doan from ICB CNRS presented recent work at the ECIO conference in Zurich. Co-organized by the ETH Zurich and Optica, the event is the largest event on integrated optics in Europe dedicated to cutting-edge research and technological development in integrated photonics and nanophotonics. Dr. Le Doan’s presentation, titled “Low-repetition rate microcombs in compact normal-dispersion photonic crystal spiral microresoantors”, showcased the demonstration of frequency comb generation in normal-dispersion thin silicon nitride spiral resonators through synchronized, modulated dual-pump excitation and dispersion engineering via photonic crystal structures.
