On April 15, Dr. Le Doan from CNRS – Laboratoire ICB, presented recent work at the SPIE photonics Europe in Strasbourg. Organized by the SPIE — The International Society for Optics and Photonics, the event brought together the communities from photonics technologies to optical imaging, sensing, and metrology. Dr. Le Doan’s presentation, titled “Comb generation in spiral resonator with normal dispersion”, showcased the recent work in microcomb generation in the normal-dispersion regime using CMOS-compatible silicon nitride resonators.
On April 15, Dr. Erwan Lucas from CNRS – Laboratoire ICB, delivered an invited presentation at the SPIE photonics Europe in Strasbourg. His talk, titled “Spectrally confined microcombs via meta-dispersion engineering in photonic crystal ring resonators”, presented early results on the spectral shaping developed in the framework of M-Engine, to make microcombs better suited for telecom applications.
